Note name change from Junior Handlers Program to minimize confusion with the WPCSA Junior Handlers Classes
"Junior Halter Awards Program"
These awards are given to the Juniors who participate in showing their ponies in the breeding classes held at shows pointed by the Maryland Pony Breeders. The Welsh Junior Handler class and Shetland showmanship are NOT eligible classes. Exhibitors do not have to own a pony to compete but may handle any pony being shown in the halter divisions of a show.
These awards are given out each year at the Annual meeting and Brunch.
