Irish Tulip Equestrian Center, Earleville, Maryland
Need quality conformation shots and free jumping photos or video of you sale ponies? Janice Thompson and Kathryn Southard of PonyPrintPlus will be available to photograph your ponies. Video of your pony/ponies at liberty and through a jumping shoot also available upon request.
Cost:
MPB Members: $10 for 25 minute sessions
Non-Members: $20 for 25 minute sessions
Some tips for preparing your pony/ponies
for their photo shoot:
1. Prepare your pony/ponies like they are going to a show (e.g.: Clean them, make sure their feet are in good order, pull the mane, etc.)
2. Braid if you want to, pull unbraided manes to a neat length (braiders may be available on site, but make arrangements prior to scheduling your time slot)
3. Try to use a leather halter or show halter. Bridles may be appropriate for older ponies, if your pony has never worn a bridle, opt for a show halter. (Clean leather halters can be provided, please make arrangements prior to scheduling your time slot if you need one).
4. If your pony is not halter broke, that is, will not lead or stand, it's probably better to opt for "at liberty" and free jumping shots. Conformation photos can be frustrating with a wiggly, unwilling subject.
